The cascade complex is particularly beautiful, with its famous water features operating every hour on the hour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day from May to the beginning of October. They can be visited free of charge. From the top fountain you have a great panoramic view of the cascades and the ponds at the foot of the hill.
The restored cascade with its water features and some preserved sandstone sculptures by Ferdinand Tietz are testament to the splendor of the former Rococo garden.

Under Prince-Bishop Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim (1757-1779), the large cascade with the figure program created by Ferdinand Tietz and the double staircase was built. Since 1995, after extensive restoration, it can be experienced with its water features almost as much as it was more than 200 years ago. The sculptures by Ferdinand Tietz, which can be admired in the garden and in the Tietz Museum in the orangery, bear witness to the splendor of the former Rococo garden.
