Very well done, informative museum about the city and the people of Liverpool. Divided over 3 floors, the history of the city is presented visually and vividly in all centuries since its founding. A small cinema on the 3rd floor offers films and information about the Beatles.

The Museum of Liverpool tells the story of the city and its people and reflects Liverpool's global importance. It opened in 2011 as the National Museums' newest museum, replacing the former Museum of Liverpool Life. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (in winter only until 4 p.m.). It is only open on Mondays when there is a bank holiday or school holidays.
