Don't expect too much from the 3km long circular route around the Ihlsee, because the route has restrictions:
The road sometimes runs between the path and the lake, or the path is the same as the road. The view of the lake is not only limited during the growing season. The path is almost completely forested. There is no swimming area other than the one at the entrance fee. At least there is a dog bathing area in the far west.
