BUSSTOPS in Hanover is an art project with originally twelve half-open bus shelters for üstra light rail and city buses. It was part of a project on art in public spaces between 1990 and 1994 and was created on the initiative of the Lower Saxony Foundation in collaboration with üstra and Toto-Lotto Lower Saxony. The design project was carried out by internationally renowned architects and designers. The artists' brief was to create art as an extraordinary part of an ordinary service.

As part of the "Art in Public Space" project of the Lower Saxony Foundation under the direction of Dr. Lothar Romain, which Peter Ruthenberg realized from 1990 to 1994, this bus shelter was created by Jasper Morrison.
This little house is kept so functionally simple (and yet elegant) that at first you don't even realize that it is a member of the Busstop series.

The stop at Aegidientorplatz was designed by the artist Jasper Morrison in 1994.
The stop is one of the various bus stops that were created as part of an “art in public space” project between 1990 and 1994.
The designer kept it very simple in functionalism.
He also designed the TW 2000, the tram model also affectionately known as the Silver Arrow.
