A famous waterfront promenade for strolling and swimming in Nice.
The Promenade des Anglais is Nice's famous seafront promenade, stretching approximately seven kilometers along the Baie des Anges. Lined with palm trees, pebble beaches, and a wide pedestrian and bicycle path, it invites visitors to stroll, run, and relax. It owes its name to English winter visitors of the 19th century and remains one of the iconic landmarks of the French Riviera.

The promenade is absolutely worth seeing at any time of day. It offers several accesses to the beach and of course the blue chairs.
