The Rt Leva (Cape Leva) is named after the navigator family Leva, who comes from Veli Lošinj. From the generation of captains Peter Jakov Leva was the most famous. In 1834 he sailed around the Cape Horn as the first ostadriatic captain.
The Chapel of the Annunciation in the striped decoration with light and dark stone was erected as a guide for the incoming ships and served as a grave church of two families of sailors.
On the cape are also a cemetery, a park, a fish market (built in 1898) and a small red lighthouse.
