One of the many monuments in Dillingen is the Ulrich monument, which shows the Bishop of Augsburg, who first mentioned Dillingen in a document in 937. It stands on St. Ulrichsplatz, in front of the portal of the study church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
The base is decorated with medallions from four other bishops from Augsburg.
