Located a few kilometers from Paris, Vallée-aux-Loups exemplifies the harmony between cultural and natural heritage. Chateaubriand's house perpetuates the memory of its illustrious owner and recreates the atmosphere of a romantic "charterhouse" cultivating a taste for hospitality.
The residence, with its authentic decor, furnishings, and collections, evokes the memory of the writer and his work. The park surrounding the house reflects this great traveler: cedar of Lebanon, Louisiana cypress... Each year, a temporary exhibition explores a theme. Open Tuesday to Sunday.
