The former district court was built around 1600. Jurisdiction was exercised here and the convicted sinners had to serve their sentences in the infamous “Hunelok”.
The building is characterized by rich half-timbering with protruding beam heads and filling boards with pilaster architecture.
Today the museum room is housed here.

Since then, it has been possible to find out not only about the local history of Harbk, but also, for example, about village life at the time with its everyday objects.
Over the years, the museum director, Mr. Tell, was able to collect several thousand exhibits.
However, this was only possible with the active help of the people of Harbk and the residents of the surrounding towns. Everything from grandma’s rolling pin to grandpa’s miner’s lamp was donated.
