The Ahr is very nice to hike or explore by bike.
The towns along it such as Altenahr and Ahrweiler are an absolute highlight.
The landscape in the Altenahr area with the rugged and high rocks
invite you to go hiking.
Absolutely worth seeing!

The Ahr is really nice to look at here. Maybe it was the season and the state of the sun, but I was really excited about the interaction of water, forest, rocks and light. A thick, fallen tree reaches far into the river and I just had to run it down to take some pictures directly above the Ahr. The sunbeams reflected in the water, the vegetation in the deadwood and the beautiful landscape around it, simply top class.

The Ahrbogen is truly a place of leisure and peace. The charm of the Langfigtal nature reserve can be clearly felt here.
For everyone who wants to take a little more time to enjoy nature, there is also a bench at this point...
