Municipal Museum in Seesen, like the city itself, the centrally located historic building of the ducal hunting lodge is embedded in greenery. Since 1964, the museum of the city of Seesen has been housed here. In its immediate vicinity, the castle Sehusa, the Ratskeller - city hall of the city for centuries and the castle church of St. Andrew, together to form a romantic group picture.

The Municipal Museum Seesen offers a great insight into the development of Steinway & Sons. There is also the last (optional) stamp of the Steinway Trail here. I was greeted by a very friendly lady and given water as a welcome.
The museum offers a great insight into the history of Seesen. The opening times are:
Tuesday – Friday: 11.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m
Saturday and Sunday: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m
and by appointment
