On the horizon, the view of the sea is clear. The dunes visible originate from different time periods, with the older dunes already being over 400 years old. Incidentally, you can recognize the age of the dunes here by their coloring. It can be roughly said that the lighter they are, the younger the dunes are. There are four different types of dunes here: The foredunes (so to speak, the dune children), the white dunes, grey dunes, and brown dunes.
