Above treeline and in a wide open alpine meadow, this part of the Colorado Trail is one of the most picturesque spots above the towns of Breckenridge and Frisco. You can see the Colorado Trail etched into the side of the mountain in one direction, and in the other direction you can see the many bald peaks along the ridge of the Tenmile Range.
