A set of mills dot the Guadiana river and have been maintained since the 15th century. Puente Navarro is an example, but the most important and the only restored one of this set is the Molino de Molemocho, located at the entrance gates of the National Park, It was one of the oldest and most important flour mills, since it was already mentioned in 1575 in the Topographic Relations ordered by Felipe II.
