    Hamburger Spiegelverlag moved to HafenCity in October 2011. Now all the editorial offices are under one roof. This glass house was designed by the architect Henning Larsen. The glass facade is eye-catching and looks like a huge television.

    The Spiegel-Haus is one of the largest and "greenest" in the city of Hamburg. The
    Windows are triple-glazed, the building is cooled and heated by geothermal energy, and 70 geothermal probes down to a depth of one hundred meters regulate the temperature. Part of the energy requirement is covered by photovoltaic systems. In 2011, the Spiegel-Haus was one of the first private building projects to be awarded the "Hafencity Gold Ecolabel".
