This small, unassuming chapel is said to have been built by William the Conqueror who, having received the good news of the location of a traitor there, made a vow to build a chapel in the name of the good news. This is how he captured, tortured and killed his traitor. He returned and had the chapel built as promised. From this place, we also have a breathtaking view of the municipalities of Caumont, Esson, Thury-Harcourt and Croisilles.
