Hollwinkel Castle, an old moated castle from the 13th century, is located in Hedem. It was originally an old border castle of the bishops of Minden against the diocese of Osnabrück and the county of Ravensberg and is mentioned in the Minden fief register in 1350/1370. It is privately owned and not open to the public. But if you ask nicely beforehand, no one minds stopping by and taking photos.
