Overlooking the harbour of the same name, Glandore village makes a great place to start a hike to Drombeg Stone Circle or as a base for exploring further afield. It feels like everywhere you look you're rewarded with views of the clear blue water. There are even seals resident in the harbour and further out into the bay its not unusual to see whales, dolphins, porpoises and sharks. Despite its small size, there are a number of pubs, perfect places to rest your tired legs and take in your surroundings.
