According to legend, the Bourrique jump owes its name to a donkey that saved its lord at the bottom of the waterfall. Returning from the crusades, the latter would have been attacked by bandits. The donkey jumped on them and took them with her into the choppy waters.

Strolling on the surrounding paths is a delight. However, beware of the slippery ground in the event of rain.

Even in wet weather, the gorge is fantastic (or especially because the many rivulets and waterfalls on the way also lead water) and is crowned by this highlight. On the way you should however (not only in damp weather) well on the way pay attention - good shoes are recommended to indispensable.

The hike up the gorge to the waterfall is fantastic, to breathtaking. In wet weather, the tour should be breakneck.
