Dressing in warm layers, including a waterproof outer shell, and wearing comfortable, sturdy footwear is highly recommended, especially if you plan to explore the outdoor grounds and gardens.

What is Barryscourt Castle's policy regarding dogs on the grounds or inside the castle?

While the provided information doesn't explicitly state a dog policy, historic sites in Ireland often have restrictions on pets, particularly inside buildings and sometimes even on grounds, to preserve the site and ensure visitor comfort.
