The Glems balcony, with the "Red Tower" transformer station, forms a wooden deck over the Glems River, offering not only a view but also various seating options. A footpath leads directly from Marktstraße, passing under the historic archway and opening onto this small square overlooking the Glems.

Next to the red EnBW transformer house is the Glems balcony, a terrace that towers over the Glems. The view upstream and downstream invites you to linger. Unfortunately, there are no benches.

As part of the major "Stuttgart Region Landscape Park" project, a short section of the Glems was redesigned in Ditzingen in 2011. This sub-project is called the "Glems Landscape Park Project" or Opening of the Glems.

The newly designed area in Ditzingen along the Glems is ideal for a stroll.
