The Höhenweg in the Kaiserstuhl is one of the most famous hiking routes in the region. The Kaiserstuhl is a volcanic mountain range in Baden-Württemberg known for its breathtaking landscapes and wines.
The Höhenweg stretches over a distance of around 16 kilometers and leads through the picturesque landscape of the Kaiserstuhl. The route starts in the town of Vogtsburg and runs through vineyards and forests along the hills of the mountain range. During the hike, visitors can discover numerous sights and viewpoints, including Burkheim Castle, Ihringen Castle and the lookout tower on the Kandelberg.
