The expansive lake promenade in Cannobio, which was redesigned in 2004/2005, with its patrician houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, makes a stay on the water an experience. Under the arcades of the promenade there are a large number of coffee houses and restaurants with Italian dishes and specialties. Every Sunday morning the promenade is transformed into a typical Italian market that attracts visitors from far away. Vegetables, fruit, cheese, meat, sausage products, household items, leather goods, clothes, shoes and much more are on offer.
