The El Angliru and Alto del Cordal Loop from Mieres is a road cycling route that plunges you into the wild beauty of Asturias, with landscapes that transition from lush meadows to dramatic rocky outcrops. As you ascend, the views open up to offer a 'bird's-eye' perspective of the Picos de Europa, especially from the Angliru viewpoint. It's a demanding ride, but one that rewards you with unforgettable panoramas and the satisfaction of conquering one of cycling's most legendary climbs.
