Archaeological Site of Las Cuevas Menudas
Carved out of the rock, exposed to the wind that blows incessantly, to the sun that hits hard on clear days and centuries of history, are the Cuevas Menudas.
These formations that served as the home of hermit monks who during the High Middle Ages sought the solitude of the mountain to meditate and live away from population centers.

After overcoming a photogenic staircase, we find the Cuevas Menudas Archaeological Site. A beautiful corner, well explained and equipped that we will surely enjoy.

A historical and archaeological site that is worth the visit. The access is comfortable with walkways and wooden railing. They were excavated between the 8th and 10th centuries and used by hermits from the early Middle Ages who used them as a retreat for their prayers.
