Prinzeninsel in the Great Plön Lake is home to the cemetery of the members of the former Prussian Cadet School. In addition to the graves of those killed in both World Wars, former teachers and civilian employees and their families are buried here in private graves, as are a number of "unknown soldiers."

'Old Cadet Cemetery'
On the 'Prince's Island' in the Great Plön Lake is the cemetery for the members of the former Prussian Cadet School (later, 1933-1945: Napola), which was housed in Plön Castle until 1919.
In addition to the fallen soldiers of both World Wars in soldiers' graves (uniform gray concrete crosses), former teachers and civilian employees and their families are buried here, as well as a number of 'unknown soldiers'.
Memorial stone: approximately 3 m high boulder, with a small, split boulder leaning against it, with an inscription.
