A great gravel track. I managed it on my road bike with 28mm Conti GP4S. If you pick your lines it's fine, though care needs to be taken around the two stream crossings. The southern most one has a lumpy descent and ascent either side of the bridge. At the northerly one the bridge itself is lumpy... you could always take the ford... it's only a foot (and a bit) deep! :D

Why not cycle the 28 miles from Kemble to Bath. I have done it several times with my son (the first time in August 2014, when he was 9 years old). You have to pick the track up to the south of Cotswold "International" but then it is bridleway and minor roads all the way to Bath. The Salutation is the only pub on the route (until Batheaston). There is now a cycleway between Batheaston and the Kennet & Avon canal for easy access to Bath city centre.
