In the meantime, a stele and benches have been set up as a memorial site in front of the fenced-off remains of the destroyed bridge. There was a pretty footbridge nearby that was swept away and completely destroyed in the 2021 flood disaster. the remains form an involuntary memorial. Photos laminated to the barrier bear witness to the times before the catastrophe.
