The lime tree was planted at the Andries Church when Wilhelmina ascended the throne in 1898 at the age of 18. The lime tree is listed under number 1683003 in the National Register of Monumental Trees. It is surrounded by an iron fence with inscriptions and profile images of Wilhelmina. This hexagonal fence is a municipal monument under number 83. Almost identical fences are scattered throughout the country, including in Schoonhoven, Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, Haarlem and Rijssen.
