the ferry between Puerto Montt and Puerto Natales - the only Chilean transport connection between northern and southern Patagonia (because between them lies the world's largest ice sheet outside the poles) - travels through the fjords of Chile for three days. A beautiful experience. The Calbuco volcano shines snow-capped behind the port. It lies between Lake Llanquihue and Lake Chapo.
