This trail immerses you in the lagoon landscape of the Po Delta, among embankments, canals, salt marshes, and fish farms. Birdlife is frequently spotted along the route, particularly flamingos, herons, and other species typical of wetlands. It runs through an open and quiet environment, with long stretches of sparse shade: bring plenty of water and protect yourself from mosquitoes, especially in the evening.

On the way to Venice you can drive around in the Po Delta around the old salt pans and new fish farming areas. On the one hand there are the modern land reclamation situations with a monotonous agricultural culture steppe and on the other side of the dykes and dams a rich fauna and flora which requires a little observation. Obviously, the flamingos are also bitterns, blackbirds and snipe can be seen there. Important: take enough to drink, it is humid and even the mosquitoes beat tremendously
