The Simonssche Villa was built around 1900 by the Neumünster architect Magnus Schlichting. It was located in a spacious park area, which was adjoined by the Simons cloth factory.
The factory buildings were demolished after the decline of the textile industry.
The park behind the building is very unspoilt and can be walked through.

The Simons family park had already been laid out when the Simons Villa was built around 1900 on a small embankment at Gartenallee 14 under the direction of architect Magnus Schlichting.
For decades, cloths were manufactured in the factory buildings behind the manufacturer's villa, which made the Simons name known in Europe.
After the decline of the textile industry in Neumünster, the buildings were demolished. The Simonssche Villa was restored and is now a large practice for oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery.
