Perhaps the most beautiful section on the way from Manderscheid to the Windsborn crater lake. The Horngrabenbach eats its way into the terrain as it becomes steeper and steeper. Shortly before meeting the Kleine Kyll, the brook worked its way deep into the lava and an approximately 100 meter long path leads through the gorge. Stones and trees are covered with moss. Moisture is in the air and gives a wildly romantic impression that the photos stored here cannot even come close to reproducing.

Pleasant, easy tour with an idyllic landscape. Almost all the time you walk along the little Kyll. The adventure trail with wind chime, hearing tube and co. is also interesting for playful adults.

The Hotel-Café-Restaurant Heidsmühle is the perfect place to start and stop off.
