The Salle bridge, with its 104 meters of height, is the highest bridge in central Italy. From the bridge it is possible to admire a canyon carved into the rock of the Orta river, which flows from the nearby San Leonardo pass. In the summer season it is possible to bungee jump, while in the autumn season the reddish colors of the leaves make this panoramic point unforgettable.

Spectacular view from Ponte di Salle on the rock-hewn canyon of the Orta River, which flows from the San Leonardo Pass between the Maiella and Morrone massifs. This is an amazing place at any time of the year. The autumn colors of the canyon, river and vegetation give you the impression of communing with the paintings of the world's famous impressionists. In the summer, for a change, you can experience an adrenaline rush by bungee flying down to an almost 100-meter abyss.

One of the top places along the entire course of the Orta River, i.e. from its sources on the San Leonardo Pass at an altitude of 1,285 m above sea level, to the place where it joins the longest river of Abruzzo - L'Aterno-Pescara. The variability of the weather in the mountains and the different colors of nature associated with the seasons mean that almost every time you visit this place, you look at the canyon and the river from a different perspective.
