Veldhovenheide is a forest and heathland area near the village centers of Kwaadmechelen and Oostham, east of the Albert Canal and south of the cycle path on the former Tessenderlo-Heppen railway. It is part of the Valley of the Great Brook. This is where Natuurpunt's walks start. There are also numerous rest benches, a stone's throw from the Old Rectory. Of course, there are also access points to Veldhovenheide elsewhere, for example in the other sub-municipality of Ham, Kwaadmechelen. Here you are in Oostham.
