The Dufferin terrace is a wooden observation deck below the Château Frontenac, where you can take a leisurely stroll. Built in the 1870s, the wooden terrace, 430 meters long, starts at the Citadel of Quebec and heads north past the Hotel Château Frontenac to the Place d'Armes. At the northern end of the terrace is the mountain station of the Funiculaire du Vieux-Québec, a funicular to the lower city. - But honestly: Who needs the cable car, running is much more interesting!

From the lower town you can reach the Dufferin Terasse by means of an inclined lift. Another 310 steps lead to the Citadelle de Quebec.
The view of the harbor is excellent 😉
