The construction drawings were available in August 1898. Architect Möbius from Berlin took over the local construction management for the new town hall in October 1898. The city set up a special town hall building department, which Möbius took over as head. He was supported by construction assistant Schütz, who died after a few months, construction assistant Kramer and construction clerk Stürz.[4]
