The very photogenic Boniface Bridge may be one of the youngest bridges in Bruges, but it is emblematic of the whole city. A mysterious atmosphere, plenty of romance and fabulous views vying for your attention. Should you gaze at the small canals or jutting half-timbered houses, or rather tilt your head back to admire the stately Church of Our Lady or the neighboring Gruuthuse Palace? This is a must-see magical place at any hour. Nearby is the Gruuthuse Bridge with the white-painted house Arents - the only bridge in Bruges that has a building on it.
