The water tower, built in 1879, which can still be seen from afar, is located on the von Plettenberg family's park. Its height is 20 m and its capacity is 40,000 liters. At the time when it was still in use, the fall pressure provided the entire area of the von Plettenbergs, formerly Puricelli, with running water. The basic building material is sandstone. For decorating windows and roof terraces, cast iron from the Puricelli iron foundry in Rheinböllen. Due to its imposing construction, the tower only has one of its former functions, namely a representative one.
