It's really wonderful here. The whole island is approximately 4.3 km long if you walk around it, the north beach is purely sandy and the south beach is gravel-heavy, but where most of the seals frolic.

You can reach the dune with the dune ferry Witte Kliff. When the weather is nice, she starts at the Landungsbrücken, when the weather is bad in the north-east harbour. Adults €6 return, children over 7 years €3.
