Peter Paul Rubens spent the last 29 years of his life in Antwerp. Today his works and other works of art can be admired in his house. The house alone is worth a visit.

The Rubens House is the former residence of the famous painter Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640). Only long after his death, in 1946, was the museum opened.

Definitely recommended as a cultural side program ... for 8 € (normal adult) admission you get an ancient building, some furniture from that time, many original paintings and of course the beautiful courtyard. I'm not that art-euphoric, but one or the other image caught my interest ... if you let the overall concept work for you, you can't complain about the price.
