This is the house where Ceausescu lived from 1960 until 1989. It has 174 chambers, and 4,000 square meters. It is very well preserved and can be visited with a guide. It's usually best to make an appointment, but we were able to visit without one.

The tour costs around 8 euro ( 40 RON ), and takes almost one hour.

As a local, I think this is one of the best attractions to have in your list when visiting Bucharest.
