The Kinzie Street Railroad Bridge is a historic single-leaf bascule bridge spanning the North Branch of the Chicago River in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Standing at an elevation of approximately 180 meters above sea level, this engineering marvel was completed in 1909 and is a designated Chicago Landmark. Designed by William H.
