In honor of Fritz Reuter's 100th birthday, Krakow's local friends presented the "Fritz Reuter Memorial Stone" to the public in 1910 on the southeastern side of the Lehmwerder peninsula. This is on one of the most beautiful hiking routes that Fritz Reuter took and which he described as paradise. In 1860, the Mecklenburg local poet wrote in his "Prehistory of Mecklenburg": "In which area was the Paradise Garden? But probably where it first became dry and where the first people were made, near Groß Bäbelin, Serrahn and Krakow."
