This seating group can be found at the crossroads of four paths. If you continue up the path, you will come to the refuge on the castle hill.

This part of the Lieser path requires a good level of fitness and sure-footedness. Not only that the paths are sometimes very narrow and nestled close to the steep rocks. In the part where the Lieser path leads over the Eifelsteig (or vice versa) there are sections with a 25-30% incline or decline. Some of the passages are secured with a steel cable. Nevertheless, the walking stick is essential. The reward is a fantastic nature experience.
