The long climb is worth it. You have a great view from the Oberhütte at around 1,860 meters. When you get here, you deserve a break. The Oberhütte is also a great place to stay. You have the choice between double, 6-bed or 16-bed rooms. There is hot food here between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Very nice hut with delicious food. The tiled stove in the dining room is just the thing if you are surprised by the rain on the way. Definitely try the Kasnockerl!

Idyllically located hut directly on a beautiful mountain lake and on the way to the Seekarscharte. The Oberhütte is a real stop-off point before setting out on the long, steep ascent of the "mountain pass". Nice, brisk hostess, nice terrace, fair prices and a great view.
