Yürüyüş
In the past, arrested criminals and thieves were handed over to the justice system in Dalhem. There, they were tried by the bailiff and in some cases executed. They were then led along a path called “Chemin des Larrons” (Thieves’ Path) which led them to ‘s-Gravenvoeren, where the execution gallows in Kinkenberg stood. The villagers would crowd to see the criminals walk along this path.
