Beautiful way along the Oder. The visitor mine is normally locked, but at least in July there will be a guided tour every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 15.00.

"There has been this visitor mine in Bad Lauterberg since 1989, which provides insights into the local mining history. The facility, located in the area of the spa park directly on the east bank of the Oder, forms an interesting combination of mines of different ages:
A 1837 created Eisenstein search site of the Scholz colliery, which was opened and expanded in the 1940s for air raid protection purposes and the front part of the 1710-1718 driven Ehrlicher deep tunnel, the mining-historically most important sight of this plant.
