This observation deck is a great viewpoint along 'Wildlife Drive', a one-way paved road through 'J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge' with a 15 MPH speed limit. The refuge is open year-round except Fridays and the entrance fees are $10 for cars and $1 for bikers/hikers.
(The deck was destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022, so its currently not there, but it will be rebuilt.)

This is a nice observation deck or at least a viewing area that looks out over the lagoon on Wildlife Drive, which is a one-way paved road through J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge. The deck was actually destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022 so is in the process of being rebuilt.
