The landscape of the bike tour is surprisingly varied. The river cycle path leads from the urban south to the west. Fields, meadows and farms as well as the landscape with its clayey soils dominate here. Before it flows into the Ems, the Werse shows its original face. Floodplain landscapes, sandbanks and oxbow lakes transform the surroundings into a wildly romantic natural spectacle. The Blue Lagoon in Beckum is a special natural spectacle. The turquoise water of the two lakes gives the nature reserve a real Caribbean flair!

The path through the forest is really very nice, but because of the tree roots and the stairs, drive carefully beforehand, especially with oncoming traffic. The path leads along the Werse.
